Beyond Generative AI for Artists
How can you ethically incorporate AI into your art without sacrificing your artistic vision?

Join our February meetup for an engaging presentation on this topic, led by Austin-based artist and technologist Kellyn Dassler. Kellyn will discuss and demonstrate opportunities for incorporating AI into art outside of generative AI in more artist-empowering ways. Using examples of her own and other artists’ process and work, she will demonstrate methods of incorporating AI in ways that preserve the artist's vision, such as using machine learning libraries and more ethically trained AI models to be a collaborator with the artist.

Artists and creatives in all disciplines, especially those currently using AI or interested in using AI for their projects, are welcome and encouraged to attend this engaging talk. Enjoy plenty of opportunity for open dialogue and discussion with other artists and technologists, as well as snacks and beverages sponsored by @eastciders and @drinkeightbeer.
