Artists & the Age of AI: October 2024 Meetup

In this month’s meetup discussion, we’re exploring the larger impacts of AI in society by taking a deep dive into the topic of AI and inclusion.

How is AI breaking down the barriers of exclusion in different fields? What can we learn from these examples, and how might these insights more specifically apply to the arts? What are the potential opportunities, risks, and benefits of AI in relation to issues of inclusion/exclusion for the arts?

Be prepared for a truly engaging discussion!
We'll bring snacks and discussion points to get the conversation flowing. You bring your thoughts, experiences, and viewpoints as a creative working with AI. All perspectives and levels of experience will be respected and given space to express their opinions.

Flow of Events: Doors open at 6:30p for networking, and we'll begin the conversation by 7:00p.
Where: We’ll be in Astro Boy on the 1st floor in Capital Factory. There's a private event in Voltron this month, so please use the entrance that is outside of Voltron.
Parking: Metered parking available on the block surrounding Omni Hotel. Capital Factory can validate garage parking in the Omni underground lot for $8 after 5pm upon request.
