Artists & the Age of AI: New Year Social Hour and Mixer

Join us for a social hour and mixer at the first Artists and the Age of AI Meetup of 2025!
(Note: This first meetup of 2025 is scheduled for the third Thursday of January due to impending weather...but monthly meetups will usually be on second Thursdays each month.)

Enjoy complimentary refreshments and drinks while connecting with other artists, creatives, and technologists working in the arts, tech, and AI space.

We’ll also set aside some time for the group to discuss meetup topics and engagement opportunities for the year. So start thinking about what you would like to get out of these meetups and how your unique background and perspectives can add value to our community and discussions!

Artist and the Age of AI meetups are a warm, collegial, and inviting space. All backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience will be respected and given space to express their perspectives, opinions, and concerns about the current state and future of the arts, AI, and technology.

Flow of Events:
6:00p: Doors Open
6:30-7:05p: Network & Mingle
7:10p-7:55p: Group & Breakout Discussions
8:00p-8:25p: Network & Mingle
8:30p: Clean Up

Where: We'll be in the room Apollo on the first floor at Capital Factory.
Parking: Metered parking available on the block surrounding Omni Hotel. Capital Factory can validate garage parking in the Omni underground lot for $8 after 5pm upon request.

Never Been to Capital Factory?
It's located inside the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin. Once inside the hotel lobby, you'll find Capital Factory on the Brazos St side. Look for the Capital Factory logo. You can ask the folks at the security desk near the elevators for directions to the correct room. For this meetup, we'll be in the room Apollo, which is on the first floor.
