February's Topic: AI & the Future of Work
AI is redefining the boundaries, forms, and necessities of human labor. So what do the jobs of the future look like? What sorts of work will be taken over by AI? What work will (or should) be left to humans? And, more specifically related to the arts, how might the work of artists and creatives be impacted and/or redefined?

Be prepared for an engaging group discussion!

We'll bring snacks and discussion points to get the conversation flowing. You bring your thoughts, experiences, and viewpoints. Our meetups are a warm, collegial, and inviting space. All backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience will be respected and given space to express their perspectives, opinions, and concerns about the current state and future of the arts, AI, and technology.

Flow of Events:
Doors open at 6:30p, and we'll begin the conversation around 7:00p.

Where:
We’ll be in Apollo on the 1st floor of Capital Factory, which is located inside the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin. Once inside the Omni, inquire at the security desk in the lobby area outside of Capital Factory to direct you to the room Apollo.

Parking:
You can park streetside (metered) or inside the garage under the Omni Hotel. Capital Factory will validate parking in the Omni Garage to the reduced flat rate of $8 if you arrive after 5p and leave before 10p.

Membership Not Required:
Meetups are free and open to the public. All are welcome. You do not need a Capital Factory membership to attend.
