Join us for a social hour and mixer at the next Artists and the Age of AI Meetup! Enjoy beverages while connecting with other artists, creatives, and technologists working in the arts, tech, and AI space.

Special for this meetup: Since it's the end of the year and we're headed into the holiday season, we'll bring a fun seasonal arts activity to break the ice and inspire conversation.

Looking ahead: As usual, we'll reserve plenty of time for an open group discussion on recent developments in AI. And since it's the last meetup of the year, we'll open the floor for suggestions on topics you'd like to cover during meetups next year to keep pace with this rapidly evolving field.

What to Expect:
We'll bring beverages, a fun ice breaker activity to welcome the holiday season, and discussion prompts to get the conversation flowing. You bring your thoughts, experiences, and viewpoints. Artist and the Age of AI meetups are a warm, collegial, and inviting space. All backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience will be respected and given space to express their perspectives, opinions, and concerns about the current state and future of the arts, AI, and technology.

Flow of Events:
6:15p: Doors Open
6:30-7:00p: Network, Mingle, & Activity
7:00p-7:45p: Group Discussion
7:45p-8:15p: Network, Mingle, & Connections
8:15p: Clean Up

Where:

We’ll be in Astro Boy on the 1st floor of Capital Factory, which is located inside the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin. Once inside the Omni, head to the security desk in the lobby area outside of Capital Factory and they can direct you. The entrance to Astro Boy is on the 1st floor off the lobby area near the Capital Factory elevators.

Parking:

You can park streetside (metered) or inside the garage under the Omni Hotel. Capital Factory will validate parking in the Omni Garage to the reduced rate of $8 if you arrive after 5p and leave before 10p.

Membership Not Required:
Meetups are free and open to the public. All are welcome. You do not need a Capital Factory membership to attend.
