The Louisville and Denver/Boulder Artists Cohousing and Bohn Farm Cohousing Community have combined to form an art & farming cohousing community in a beautiful area of Boulder County near everything in Longmont Co. We have property and a developer and expect to be able to have homes completed in 2018. The people who join now will be the community that will plan the grounds to meet their own needs and interests. Join this group if you are an artist, art-lover or if you love farming/gardening and growing organic food. Are interested in living in a cohousing* community of arts and farming in Boulder County? We are building 40 homes. Could one of them be for you? Shared community resources may include a place for neighbors and the community to gather, a 2 acre CSA farm and permaculture farming, space for kilns and shops for sculptors and studio space for painters, a maker-space, music room, film digital studio, a performance place, a gallery, and art events. This community combines new-urbanism with an intense love of the arts and growing organic food. On 6 acres with the potential for residential and commercial components this community plan provides options for food production and art community involvement. Be part of creating this future for yourself. People of all ages, live independently and together fostering arts, clean renewable energy efficiency, farming, and community.
