THE SUNDAY WRITERS | your weekly, communal 90mins cosy writing time

✍️ LET‘S WRITE TOGETHER
You don't have to feel like a writer, or be a published author (or whatever else the inner critic claims you have to be) before joining this writing group.

👥 EVERYONE IS WELCOME
So, feel free to use the 90mins quiet writing time however you like, e.g. to work on your: fantasy novel, shopping list, poem, essay outline, journal, annoying email, etc.

📍LOCATION
**We gather at 13h upstairs by high tables in the middle at Pret-a-Manger, which is accessed via the Sony Center. (⚠️ Not to be mixed up with the Pret branch on Potsdamer Platz itself⚠️)

⏰ SCHEDULE
13–13:15h // Arrivals: settling in + setting up; ordering drinks and/or lunch; small-talk (if comfortable)
13:15–13:30h // Introductions: sharing our names (& pronouns) and what we'll be working on today
13:30–15h // 90 mins focused writing time.
⚠️There will be no official break in between; everyone is free to take pause when needed. (If you'd like to chat, please do so that the rest of the writers may stay undisturbed❣️)
15h // Wrap-up: Recap about how our session went, e.g. what went well, and/or how would we like to improve (all voluntary!)
15:15h // Good byes … or stay to chat to others and/or to write a bit longer ✍️

🎧 NOISE LEVELS
TL;DR —> it’s unpredictable, so be prepared for your sensory needs!
👂The upstairs space is usually not too loud (sometimes even blissfully quiet) and often quietens down significantly after the lunch rush (though exceptions to the rule notwithstanding!!!) Hence it’s advisable to bring noise cancelling headphones or some earplugs with you.
