Artists of The Noguchi Museum

Details
Join us for an exciting new trip to the Noguchi Museum!
Founded in 1985 by category-defying artist Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988), The Noguchi Museum, was the first museum in the United States to be established, designed, and installed by a living artist to show their own work. Located in Long Island City, Queens, the Museum itself is widely viewed as among the artist’s greatest achievements.
We'll meet in the lobby and each buy our ticket separately. It's only $16, or $6 for seniors and students.

**Our events reach capacity quickly and have extensive waitlists, so if you cannot attend at any point please unregister from the event so that those on the waitlist can join! Thank you! **
Why is AOTM a unique experience? We come together under the passion of drawing, but our events emphasize connecting with people. You'll find plenty of inspiration from our outings, dinners, and events beyond the drawing space. Our world is bigger than the page! We offer a safe space for artists to open up in a community where they can be themselves. The Met is our home but we also work out of other museums and popular locations throughout the country.
• We sketch for a bit, usually 45 minutes or so, and then get back together and share our drawings, and then sketch again, etc. There's usually time for 3 sketches.
• Please bring your own supplies - anything you like to work with - pens, pencil, watercolor, pastel, small sketchbook or large paper, iPad, whatever suits you.
• We take photos to share on the site later. Take a bunch!
• This Meetup is FREE and everyone at all skill levels is welcome!
Your RSVP for this event does not count as a ticket for museum entry. Please still purchase your ticket at one of the vendors in the museum
