Artists of Greenwood Cemetery 💀 🪦 🍂

The artists take a trip to the Greenwood Cemetary for a lovely fall outing! Can you dig it?! Green-Wood is 478 spectacular acres of hills, valleys, glacial ponds, and paths, throughout which exists one of the largest outdoor collections of nineteenth- and twentieth-century statuary and mausoleums. This is one outing you don't want to miss!

We will meet at the main entrance under the Gothic archway! (pictured) Which is located at the intersection of 25th and 5th avenue. This event will be hosted by guest artist Dorsey Sprouls.

Why is AOTM a unique experience? We come together under the passion of drawing, but our events emphasize connecting with people. You'll find plenty of inspiration from our outings, dinners, and events beyond the drawing space. Our world is bigger than the page! We offer a safe space for artists to open up in a community where they can be themselves. The Met is our home but we also work out of other museums and popular locations throughout the country.

• We sketch for a bit, usually 45 minutes or so, and then get back together and share our drawings, and then sketch again, etc. There's usually time for 3 sketches.
• Please bring your own supplies - anything you like to work with - pens, pencil, watercolor, pastel, small sketchbook or large paper, iPad, whatever suits you.
• We take photos to share on the site later. Take a bunch!
• This Meetup is FREE and everyone at all skill levels is welcome!
