Artists of Central Park 🌳 🦆 🌷

Join the Artists while we enjoy the beautiful woods of Central Park for an afternoon of nature studies! Bring any medium you wish to work in! We will also perform sharing exercises to help build skills around communication and connectivity. We will meet at the park entrance at 103rd St. on the West side. Please arrive on time, or it will be difficult to find us in the park. From there, we will draw in unique areas around the park! We look forward to sketching with you!

Why is AOTM a unique experience? We come together under the passion of drawing, but our events emphasize connecting with others through discussion. You'll find plenty of inspiration from our outings, dinners, and events beyond the drawing space. Our world is bigger than the page! We offer a safe space for artists to open up in a community where they can be themselves. The Met is our home, but we also work out of other museums and popular locations throughout the country.

• We sketch for a bit, usually 45 minutes or so, and then get back together and share our drawings, and then sketch again, etc. There's usually time for 3 sketches.
• Please bring your own supplies - anything you like to work with - pens, pencil, watercolor, pastel, small sketchbook or large paper, iPad, whatever suits you.
• We take photos to share on the site later. Take a bunch!
• This Meetup is FREE and everyone at all skill levels is welcome!
