It's time to get those ghouls and goblins under one roof!🧟♂️ Get dressed up to draw! The artists will come together for a fun night at the museum! We will begin our monster mash in the large court of the American Wing (room 700). We will explore other cultures as part of this rich Halloween experience.
We ask that our artists have some fun and take turns posing in costume so we can all draw from each other!
It's advised to arrive a little early so you don't lose the group once we head off to other drawing locations in the museum. We look forward to sketching with you!

Why is AOTM a unique experience? We come together under the passion of drawing, but our events emphasize connecting with people. You'll find plenty of inspiration from our outings, dinners, and events beyond the drawing space. Our world is bigger than the page! We offer a safe space for artists to open up to a community where they can be themselves fully. The Met is our home, but we also work out of other museums and popular locations throughout the country.
• We sketch for a bit, usually 45 minutes or so, and then get back together and share our drawings, and then sketch again, etc. There's usually time for 3 sketches.
• Please bring your own supplies - anything you like to work with - pens, pencils, watercolor, pastel, small sketchbook or large paper, iPad, whatever suits you.
• We take photos to share on the site later. Take a bunch!
• This Meetup is FREE and everyone at all skill levels is welcome!
*Your RSVP for this event does not count as a ticket for museum entry. Please still purchase your ticket at one of the vendors in the museum. NY and NJ residents have the option to pay as you wish*
