Join the City of Santa Fe as we continue to celebrate our 20th anniversary as the first UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art in the United States.
We are thrilled and honored to welcome a delegation from the city of Tamba-Sasayama, Japan, for four days of illuminating conversations, workshops, demonstrations, and intercultural exchange.
You're invited to an evening reception and connection as we launch this cultural exchange and inspired creativity between global and local artists. Tamba-Sasayama is renowned for its traditional crafts, including weaving and the celebrated Tamba-Yaki pottery tradition, which spans more than 850 years and stands as one of Japan’s most respected art forms. Come meet our Japanese guests, including renowned artists Yuki Ogami and Tatsuya Ichino, and share our legendary Santa Fe hospitality for an unforgettable weekend for all involved.
