You gotta let yourself do your art.
You deserve to learn, sniff out your curiosity, & paint with the wrong colour. So much of art is just about meeting yourself in different mediums. Not everyone understands the work it takes to be so honest.
I think what holds a lot of artists back, is themselves. When you’re feeling that fresh air brush over your vulnerabilities, what better time than to lean on a community of people who get it.
Who actually understand how big the lil wins are. Who have experience being courageous. Who try despite a million rejections and failed attempts.
You can’t help but be an artist & you shouldn’t have to do it alone.
I’m a creativity coach. I made this space because I believe everyone has the right to express themselves & everyone has the right to learn how to do that. I use life coaching skills everyday to help me get more honest with myself & my art.
I know that great things are built by villages & because I couldn’t see one around me I decided to make one.
This is your space to learn, to share, to open up to new ideas. I want to schedule monthly meet ups where we can focus on what things our art is asking us to face, and use the wealth of experience and wisdom from the group to help us move forward.
I’m offering 5 people, 3 free coaching sessions to help guide you through some of the blocks you’re facing and give you some tools to navigate it all more easily in the future - please message me for this link.
Meetups will likely be: talk about your dreams picnics, creative time in the park, talk through your blocks coffees, and getting into the self workshops. (& maybe one more hang just to workshop these titles).
I’ve been thinking about this group for ages now & I know we’re going to make something great. Can’t wait for the first event.
