## About Five at the Table
Five at the Table is a small, in-home artist salon built around presentation, looking, and conversation.
Each gathering is limited to five participants and centers on one artist presenting their work, followed by thoughtful discussion. The focus is on work that is actively being made and shared—work that is finding its place in the world.
I’m a working artist, photographer, and longtime gallery owner. Over the years I’ve lived inside the practical realities of an art life: making work, editing it, showing it, pricing it, selling it, and sometimes letting it fail. This group is a place to slow those experiences down and talk about them honestly.
The salon is designed for artists who are engaged in their practice and interested in understanding their work more clearly—whether in terms of direction, audience, exhibitions, or modest commercial success. It’s not a critique circle, a class, or a networking event. It’s a space for careful looking, clear thinking, and respectful exchange.
Participation is by sign-up and approval. The group remains small by design.
Meetings will be scheduled as soon as the participants are identified.
