Sewing Summer Club

Details
Whether you're a fabric artist, a fashionista upcycling a thrift flip, or just need a little social accountability for that mending pile, Sewing Summer Club meets every other Saturday in the Creative Lab at the Main Library from June 14– September 20! But if we get enough of a group going, we may be able to extend the dates.
This is not a class but a social group in which we work on our own sewing projects. Nonetheless, someone will be present to introduce you to these particular sewing machines (they are all the same, modern Brother brand). There are also computers in the lab so you can consult YouTube for tips and projects.
What to Expect:
- Thread and basic sewing tools and space to lay out and cut fabric are available.
- Bi-Weekly Meetings: Club meets every other Saturday from June 14–September 20. Stop by as often as you like!
- Bring Your Own Projects: Whether it’s a simple repair, a quilting project, or a garment you’re working on, you’re welcome to bring whatever you’re sewing to the group. Share tips, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate your progress together!
- Sewing Machines Available: We have machines available for use, so all you need to bring is your project and your enthusiasm.
Grab your sewing projects and join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity and camaraderie. We can’t wait to meet you and sew together!
This is a free event with free parking (2 hour limit in the structure below the library).

Every 2 weeks on Saturday until September 20, 2026
