A celebration of beauty, perspective and the art of noticing.

🎨 This meetup takes us to the Serpentine to explore a major exhibition by David Hockney, one of the most influential and beloved artists of our time. Featuring new works created especially for the exhibition alongside the monumental A Year in Normandie, the show invites us to slow down, look more closely, and discover the extraordinary in everyday life.

Spanning vibrant landscapes, changing seasons and Hockney's unique way of seeing the world, the exhibition offers a joyful and immersive experience from an artist whose work has continually redefined how we view art, nature and reality.

We will meet at the exhibition entrance .

Pre-booked tickets for 2pm are sold out but Walk-ups are welcome we just may need to queue.

More info about the exhibit here.

☕️ We will explore for about 30-40mins then we'll head to a nearby café for anyone who'd like to continue the conversation.

Everyone welcome 🙂

Important to note:

  1. We typically socialise at cafés after the exhibit, nice, independent ones, not chains and not at pubs. If the event is late on a Saturday we go to a nice bar/pub for drinks after. This meetup is inclusive and everyone is welcome to join.

  2. If you get there before everyone and you're not sure what to do or where we are, post a comment on here and I will let you know our whereabouts.

  3. Once we go in we may separate, feel free to explore the exhibit by yourself, we don't have to be together. Some people like chatting to others while exploring and other people prefer to be with their own thoughts. You are welcome to express yourself and do whatever makes you feel comfortable.

  4. If you are late or if you've booked for an earlier or later time don't worry just go in and you'll find us inside. Keep an eye on the comments as I'll be posting updates.
