Calling all Cleveland Creatives! We will have guest speakers and artists/performers at our bi-monthly on Art, Music & Technology meetup at Midtown Tech Hive on Euclid.
All musicians, producers, technologists, visual artists, creatives, composers, coders, and makers welcome! Meet, grab a coffee, share your art/wares. Talks and presentations will be scheduled prior to each meeting. A venue will be announced in advance of each meeting. We accept donations to cover meetup costs!
Dan Giffin (Live Producers Online, Indianapolis)
Dan Giffin has trained hundreds of artists to use Ableton Live both in the studio and on-stage, with credits collaborating with Mac Miller, Machine Gun Kelly, The Band Perry, and others. He also founded the Ableton membership website LiveProducersOnline.com and hosts the Ableton Music Producer Podcast.

Astral House Fly (Cleveland)
Astral Housefly is a Multi-Genre bedroom producer. He works with local and remote musicians to offer original music production, recording, mixing, mastering, video and photography all in one bedroom. His personal creative endeavors include making psychedelic lofi-hip hop, crafting groovy future funk jams and entering various EDM Splice remix competitions.
Rafique Watson (Cleveland)
Rafique is a digital music instructor for his sample based recording techniques through Young Audiences. Offering an after-school program as well as in-school workshops for teens ages 12-17, for sixteen counties in the state of Ohio.

Topics include: Unity, AI.
Dave McKee will talk about the current state of interactive music and sound in games as well as giving a basic demonstration of what you can achieve in Unity. Dave will also demonstrate an interactive audio project he's been working on using Unity and Wwise.
Brendan Mulcahy is working on a new style of computer game where machine learning is at the core of the player experience. Teammates learn to play in different situations largely determined by initial user input. Brendan will give a brief overview of machine learning techniques and how they might be used in game development.
