Hello everyone
We are back with our 'arts for mental health' workshops in Toronto. We will be driving conversations through mental health activities and storytelling.
Date: Sep 20, 2024 | 4 PM - 6 PM
Location: Daniel's Spectrum
585 Dundas St E, Toronto, ON M5A 2B7.
Studio #2, Suite 130
Format: please arrive at 4:00 pm. there will be an intro and two ice breaker games which will be followed by a discussion time. this event will include a therapy through performance and conclude with a time of mingling.
What to expect: Meet other artists and non-artists who are interested in talking about tools and tips for improved mental health. There will be mental health coaching and some artists who will talk about arts as a tool for mental and emotional wellbeing. Some fun theatre or improv activities to break the ice and get the event going.
What to remember: Please note that this is intended to be a safe space where people may share or ask questions should they feel inclined to do so. Respect for and privacy of anything that is shared by participants is key. Everyone will be expected to do their part in ensuring that our meetings continue to be a safe and fun space for all involved.
What to bring: Yourselves, your questions, your artistic practices (if applicable) and a great attitude towards improved mental health as a community. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement.
Fees: $35 per person. Since this is a 3 session series, discounts are available for those pay up for all 3 sessions in advance. Please DM for etransfer details.
This workshop holds a maximum of 20 people per session so please book your spot at the earliest.
