Fukuda Art Museum and Okochi Sanso: Arashiyama Walking Tour in Fresh Greenery

Details

[Tour Overview]
Hi, everione. During this season when fresh greenery adorns the mountains, Arashiyama offers particularly refreshing scenery.
In this tour, we will visit the Fukuda Art Museum, which opened in Arashiyama in October 2019. It is a private art museum designed by architect Koichi Yasuda. We will appreciate the collection of beauty paintings currently being exhibited.

We will also stroll through the renowned Hōrin-ji Temple near Togetsukyo Bridge, the "Denden-gu" shrine visited by business owners in the electricity and radio industries, the popular bamboo grove path, and the beautiful Okochi Sanso Garden where you can enjoy a beautiful garden and views.

For lunch, we plan to visit a shop along the Katsura River that serves homemade udon or soba noodles. For a break, we plan to visit the popular café "Pan to Espresso to Arashiyama Teien(パンとエスプレッソと嵐山庭園)," which is attached to a bakery (subject to change depending on congestion).

Finally, we will disband at "Kimono Forest" where you can take picturesque photos. We hope for good weather and look forward to seeing you there!
