Frank Lloyd Wright's Architecture and the Ancient Art of Hakutsuru

Hello everyone! It’s been a while! This time, we will be holding a special autumn tour on Sunday. We will visit the Yodoko Guesthouse, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and the Hakutsuru Museum, a private museum established by the seventh generation of Hakutsuru Sake Brewery, Jibei Kano.

【Tour Overview】
Meeting Time: 9:45 AM November 23rd, Saturday
Meeting Place: In front of McDonald's (マクドナルド ＪＲ芦屋店) near the North Exit of JR Ashiya Station
Participation Fee: 500 yen

●10:00 AM: Yodoko Guesthouse
Admission Fee: Adults 500 yen (Junior high and high school students 200 yen, Seniors 65 and older 400 yen)
The Yodoko Guesthouse (formerly the Yamamura Residence) is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property designed by the American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It reopened to the public in 2019 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2024. We invite you to come and experience its charm in this memorable year.

Walk to Hakutsuru Museum from Mikage Station, with a stop at ●Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine along the way.

Autumn Exhibition: “90th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition”
Admission Fee:
Adults: 800 yen (65 and older, university and high school students: 500 yen, Junior high and elementary school students: 250 yen)
The museum houses approximately 1,450 pieces, including 2 national treasures and 22 important cultural properties, providing a valuable opportunity to appreciate cultural attractions.

On the way back:
●Visit the waterwheel at Nadame and the Yuzuruhah Jinja Shrine.

皆さん、お久しぶりです！今回は特別な秋のツアーを日曜日に開催します。フランク・ロイド・ライト設計の「ヨドコウ迎賓館」と、白鶴酒造7代目・嘉納治兵衛が開設した私立美術館「白鶴美術館」を訪れます。

ヨドコウ迎賓館（旧山邑家住宅）は、アメリカ人建築家フランク・ロイド・ライトが設計した国指定重要文化財です。2019年に一般公開が再開され、2024年には竣工100周年を迎えます。この記念すべき年に、ぜひその魅力を感じに来てください。

午後: 御影駅から徒歩で白鶴美術館へ移動
その途中で若宮八幡宮に立ち寄ります。

灘目の水車と**弓弦羽神社（ゆずるはじんじゃ）**を訪れます。
