This is an art walk in central Kyoto (Nakagyo area).
We will visit 10 modern buildings and 3 free art galleries.
You can enjoy modern architecture by Goichi Takeda, Taisho-era romantic buildings, and contemporary art installations all in one day.

【Hinamatsuri Special Walk】
Shimogamo Shrine “Nagashi-bina” & Spring Culture Walk in Kitayama

◆ Tour Overview
This is a special walking tour held on Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day).
We will watch the traditional “Nagashi-bina” ritual at Shimogamo Shrine and then visit cultural spots in the Kitayama area.
You can enjoy a beautiful traditional ritual for good health, modern and contemporary cultural sites, and a relaxing walk in a spring garden.

▷ Kawai Shrine
A shrine famous for beauty prayers
Known for blessings for beauty, health, and youth

▷ Shimogamo Shrine
・Nagashi-bina ritual (starts at 11:00 a.m.)
・Walk around the shrine grounds

▷ Kyoto Prefectural Garden of Fine Arts

【ひなまつり特別企画】
下鴨神社「流し雛」と春の北山文化さんぽ

◆ツアー概要
ひなまつりの日に行われる、下鴨神社の伝統行事「流し雛」を見学し、その後は北山エリアの文化施設を巡る季節限定のウォーキングです。
無病息災を願う古式ゆかしい神事と、近代・現代文化施設、春の植物園散策をあわせて楽しみます。
