Social ride to the Cabin and the Windmill Inn

This social ride is starting at Shoreham wooden Toll Bridge by the Air Show Memorial at 10:00 am promptly. The route includes a variety of surfaces, types of roads and lanes including those with some traffic and shorter sections of the Downslink. Generally undulating with a few kickers but without any significant hills.
The sections of the Downslink are all cyclable preferably with wider tyres, provided care is taken to avoid dips and muddy surfaces. If in doubt, slow down. When in narrow lanes and on roads with double lines ensure you cycle directly behind the person in front and not parallel.

The route includes Steyning, Henfield and Partridge Green. Coffee stop will be at the Cabin at Berretts Farm, Henfield after 9 miles with lunch at the Windmill Inn, Littleworth after 12 miles (need to preorder meals from menu including two courses for around £15). Total mileage is 33 miles.

The usual rules for all Club rides regarding bike maintenance and bringing sufficient tools and materials with you for minor repairs such as tyre or inner tube punctures. Also, ride with sufficient care and consideration in the interest of your own and others safety.
The first aid provisions are no different from if you were riding on your own or informally with friends.
