Spring Circuit 21 April 2026

Start at 10.00 at the Shoreham Wooden Tollbridge (east side).

Inland route to Portslade. Ascent, via Benfield Valley trail and cycle route 82, to the Dyke Golf Club. Descent via Sadlescombe Road to Poynings, Edburton, and Bramber. Return to Shoreham via the Downs Link, and onto the club AGM (members only) in Durrington.

Due to time constraints, this is a 'one stop' ride with a flask/BYO stop (location tba) and a lunch stop at Springs cafe.

Small sections of the climb will be on good, but not entirely smooth, pathway. The ride is 29 miles. At least one group will ride a very stready social pace. If you prefer a shorter ride, there is a train service from Shoreham to Durrington. The AGM begins at 15.00.

Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy and you bring with you sufficient equipment and spares to repair any punctures.

All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and getting home if bike cannot be repaired roadside. The first aid provisions are no different from if they were riding on their own or informally with friends.
