Short Chichester off-road loop

Start at 10.10 at Chichester station, south side.

Take the train leaving:
Brighton @ 09.13
Shoreham @ 09.27
Worthing @ 09.36
Angmering @ 09.43
and arriving in Chichester @ 10.03.

We'll cycle along the Chichester canal towpath to the marina, up Saltern's Way, and join Centurian Way to reach West Dean Store / Cafe. After a break, we'll return to Chichester station via Centurian Way.

While we aim to take the 13.14 train home from Chichester station, we cannot guarantee that all riders will make this schedule. A leader will accompany all riders back to Chichester station.

80% of this route is on good trails. Thin road tyres are not recommended.
There are no significant climbs, but Centurian Way gentally ascends towards West Dean. Total is 19 miles.

Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy and you have sufficient equipment to make minor repairs such as a puncture.

All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and wellbeing and should be aware that the medical/first aid provisions are no different than if they were riding on their own or informally with friends.
