## 🦬 Historical Dinner Night – The Fort: A Taste of the Old West
Wednesday, November 4 | 6:00 PM
Limited to 8 guys
For our next Next Chapter Men's Collective Dinner Night, we're heading to The Fort in Morrison, one of Colorado's most unique and historic dining experiences.
This isn't your typical steakhouse. The Fort is an adobe restaurant modeled after Bent's Old Fort, the famous 1830s trading post along the Santa Fe Trail. Walking through its doors is like stepping back into Colorado's frontier days.
### A Little History Before We Go
Bent's Fort was a gathering place for mountain men, fur traders, Native Americans, and travelers along the Santa Fe Trail. It was a crossroads of cultures, commerce, and frontier life.
The restaurant carries that history into its architecture and menu, which draws inspiration from pioneer diaries, Native American food traditions, and the meals of mountain men and Santa Fe Trail travelers.
Expect something a little different from your typical dinner out:
- Wild game: Buffalo, elk, quail, and other traditional frontier meats.
- Old West specialties: Bone marrow, tongue, and Rocky Mountain oysters.
- Spanish and Mexican influences: Reflecting the cultural crossroads of Bent's Fort.
- Trade Whiskey: Bourbon, red pepper, tobacco, and black gunpowder. A cocktail that sounds like it came straight out of the Old West!
### 🍷 The Plan
We'll meet at 6:00 PM for dinner, drinks, conversation, and a chance to experience a little Colorado history.
Only 8 spots available, so please RSVP if you're planning to attend.
Just like all of our dinner gatherings, we'll have separate tabs. Everyone is responsible for their own food and drinks.
