What we’re about

Our country faces some big challenges, and no one is coming to save us. From deindustrialization, to widespread debt, to political corruption, it's up to our generation to come together and tackle the problems of the 21st century head on.

Join us for solutions-oriented discussions, engage with a diversity of opinions, and seize the opportunity to address the toughest tests of our era. Let's talk policy, economics, geopolitics, and community organizing over a drink.

Reindustrialization

129 S 30th St, 129 South 30th Street, Philadelphia, PA, US

Join us at The Post (down the street from 30th St Station) for an open, solutions-oriented discussion on reindustrialization in the US, Pennsylvania, and Philly.

Once an industrial powerhouse, our country, our state, and even our city has transitioned to a virtual economy of rent extraction, finance, and insurance. Most manufacturing and industry has been outsourced across the world. Compared to 100 years ago, America doesn't make anything anymore.

With trade wars looming and China's new rare earth export policy, Americans are in for a rude awakening - we've forgotten how to extract, refine, build, and maintain the materials and infrastructure that keep society going.

How can we overhaul the our educational, economic, and political systems to ensure the resilience of American society for the 21st century and beyond? What - and who - is standing in the way of Americans reigniting the furnace of industry? And is it even worth trying?

Join us for a drink and a casual discussion on these topics and more. See you there!
