Description:
The 100th birthday of the two Aschaffenburg artists – Gunter Ullrich and Walter Helm – provided the impetus for the exhibition. Who else was active here? What breakthroughs were there? The exhibition "Where From - Where To?" explores these and other questions. It spans the period from the formation of the Aschaffenburg art scene after World War II, through the emergence of the first artist groups, to the use of the former Jesuit church as a new art space.
