Should I stay or should I go?? Boston Chapter planning meeting

Details

Chapter Improvement meeting!! This Thursday we are having a Chapter zoom meeting to ask meet up and paying ASGA members for their feed back on how to improve our Boston Chapter.

  • Lets start here; We all love Golf and want to play. In addition we've formed wonderful friendships through this chapter that have enhanced our lives.
  • Why is the meeting called "should I stay or should I go?". Successful chapters around the country don't allow non paying members the access we allow here in Boston.
  • Along the way the line between the benefits of being a paying member of the ASGA and a "meet up only" member has blurred in the Boston chapter. If a person isn't participating in the national trips program they start to ask: "Why am I paying $99 bucks, when I can pay $10 to attend a golf outting?".
  • Most chapters allow ONE visit prior to becoming a ASGA member or charge $25.
  • In addtion the Boston Chapter appears to be the only ASGA chapter that allows Non ASGA members to be organizers!!
  • The results has been a 50% drop in paid memberships.
  • Is THAT the chapter you want?
  • The first 30 minutes will be an open meeting, The last 30 minutes will be for ASGA members ONLY.

We’d like feedback from current and past members on how to provide a better membership experience so more individuals become paying members.
I hope you can make it.
