Join Hi-Wire Brewing for our annual Cupid Is Stupid Car Smashing Event on February 14 from 1–4 PM at Biltmore Village taproom.
As one local news outlet put it, “For an event that’s about as anti-Valentine’s Day as you can get,” Cupid Is Stupid offers the ultimate outlet for Valentine’s Day angst. This is a fully organized (and safety-minded!) car-smashing experience—so while you can’t BYO hammer and go wild, Hi-Wire will provide protective eyewear and an assortment of officially sanctioned “bludgeoning devices” to get the job done.
A car generously provided by Biltmore Iron and Metal Co Inc. will be sacrificed for the cause, and all proceeds benefit the Pink Boots Society of North Carolina, an organization dedicated to assisting, inspiring, and encouraging women in the beer industry through education and career advancement.
Bring a few bucks, take a few swings, enjoy great beer, and celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most cathartic way possible—because sometimes love hurts, but smashing a car at a brewery feels pretty great. 💥🍺
