Asheville Swing Night is hosting their monthly swing dance and lesson, let's join them!

If you haven't been before, you're in for a treat. My friends Brad and Barrie are coming over from Knoxville to teach a fun and energetic lesson that you won't want to miss.

They'll get you dancing right away with the basic steps and ensure you have lots of fun while you're at it!

A partner is absolutely not necessary. During the lesson (and dance) most people rotate partners, making it a fun and easy way to meet new people and get comfortable in the space.

(Most people come alone btw.)

What dance are we learning? Specifically you'll be learning intro Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing.

How many people will be there? In March about 90 people were at the dance, usually we have 55-65. It's open to the public, not just this Meetup group.

What should I wear? Wear shoes that are comfortable to dance in. Heels are not recommended and leather-soled shoes or comfortable sneakers are best. Dressing up is optional and not required, people wear all sorts of types of clothes.
