Guitar Jam for Intermediate Acoustic Musicians

You'll want to bring a music stand.

This is not an open-mic event or a teaching experience. The emphasis is on playing and singing together. Advanced musicians are welcome, but they shouldn't expect participants to know jazz chords or difficult pieces. Bring songs that most every intermediate player can play.

Mandolins, ukuleles and stand-up bases are welcome. Banjos, keyboards, fiddles and other loud instruments are discouraged. Electric bases CAN work if the player keeps the volume down. If the song leader's instrument can't be heard, then somebody is playing too loud.

Let's have fun singing and playing together! What kind of songs? Let's emphasize folk, blues, oldies, mellow rock, and a dash of country.
