15-Mile Day Hike - Daniel Boone Scout Camp Cold Mountain Loop Trail

Who wants to get ready for the 20-mile hike challenge on 9/13?! I do!!!

Join me on this 14.6-mile day-hike with 3,800 ft elevation gain!

We will follow roughly a 2-2.5 mph pace, with breaks as needed, and will stop longer for second breakfast, elevenses, and lunch :-)

There will be places to stop and filter water along the way, but I can't guarantee how reliable they are right now, so please bring 2L or more to start.

If you have any allergies (particularly to stinging insects), please make sure to bring any medication/EpiPen.

This trail is dog-friendly, but there are leash laws in effect in this area for the safety of humans, pets, and wildlife. If you bring a dog, they have to stay on a leash the whole time, no exceptions.

I am not a certified guide, and by registering for this hiking event, you release me of any liability should you be injured (or worse) on this hike.
