What weâre about
This is a group for Breathworkers and Breathers to post and share events and opportunities in the community for the practice of Breathwork. What is Breathwork? Breathwork, through deep breathing and evocative music (usually), facilitates access to all levels of human experience, including unfinished biographical material, birth memories, transpersonal phenomena, and residues of trauma stored in the body. This experience can allow for deeper layers of the psyche to emerge for integration and healing. It is transformative! Please note that most events are paid events; follow the posts to learn more.

- Focus BreathworkFairview Space for Transformation, Fairview, NC
Throughout history, virtually every culture has provided an opportunity and a method to access non-ordinary states of consciousness for inner exploration and healing. These methods have included drumming, chanting, dancing, fasting, ingesting psychoactive plants, altering breathing patterns, and many others. Breathwork, through deep breathing and evocative music, facilitates access to all levels of human experience, including unfinished biographical material, birth memories, transpersonal phenomena, and residues of trauma stored in the body.
Join us for Focus Breathwork
with Ted Riskin, LCSW and Amy Borskey Duffer, MA, LCAS
A certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator, Ted has created this shortened version for those who do not have 12 hours to spare. The workshop includes two 80-minute sessions of breathing to evocative music, one as the "breather" and one as a "sitter." The group connects before these sessions and integrates by sharing experiences afterwards.
