Weekly Bitcon Meetup
Details
Let's get this weekly meetup started right! We'll meet at Riverside Rhapsody from 6:00-8:00.
We had a full group at Rise 'n Shine last time and want to make space for our more experienced Bitcoiners. Beginners are welcome too!
From here on out, we'll host a regular weekly meetup alternating between social time with other Bitcoiners and themes suggested by our group members and facilitated by those who feel called to share/lead. The intention of the December 2nd meetup will be to socialize and get to know the other members of our group. Craig is leading a Twitter Spaces on Bitcoin and Education that night, so Mike will be hosting this one!
Some ideas shared at the last get together were:
- Running a node
- Mining
- Lightning Network
- Taxes
- Coinjoin/Whirlpool
- Scams
We also want to discuss some of the less technical, but equally important aspects of Bitcoin, such as:
- Environmentalism
- Game Theory
- Self-sovereignty
- Jurisdictional Arbitrage
