Hello to all the psychedelic Family we have in this Ayahuasca & Healing Plants group.🙏🌟💚 Please read the following as we are changing the name and focus of this group a little bit.
Lawrence and I are the moderators for the Ashevile Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Meetup and now this group will be under the same umbrella. The new name for us here will be "Asheville Cannabis, Entheogens and Healing". We will cover some of the same topics as the original Ayahuasca group but with an emphasis on Cannabis. The world of cannabis is vast and this group can help folks understand the many and varied ways of using this amazing plant...from healing on many levels to recreational uses as well.
Cannabis has historically had a stigma in our society and we are working on correcting any misinformation about it and elevating this plant to a much higher level, including using it as a psychedelic medicine. When we refer to Cannabis we are referring to the legal version(THCa), just to avoid any confusion.
For this group, we will still have an emphasis on psychedelics, in general, using Cannabis as a cheap and accessible psychedelic as well and a varied approach on the topic of healing using other medicinal plants. We would like to have guest speakers and even meet at Cannabis businesses around town. We hope this group can be very educational and help with understanding this new and complex world of Cannabis, psychedelics(entheogens) and how they can help us heal.

Join us for a LEGAL psychedelic experience featuring CannabisTHCa flower containing <0.3% of Delta 9 THC from local legal cannabis dispensaries. We will be providing the THCa flower to can keep this 100% legal, maintain consistency, and ensure everyone has access to the same quality medicine!
This work helps us release all the heavy energy that many of us may be carrying these days. It is also very helpful for ptsd, depression, anxiety that many are also experiencing. It can help with regulating and slowing down the nervous system. Everything we need right now.
Our guide, Dave, has studied with The Center for Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, CO to facilitate one-on-one and group psychedelic cannabis ceremonies. Dave's approach is from an embodied, mindfulness perspective. He will ask us to set an intention, invite us to imbibe in the medicine, guide us in a body scan meditation, and lead us through some light breathwork for those who want to go deeper. Dave is also a certified clinical herbalist, Energy Worker, and Shamanic Practitioner.
David Heiss of Star Sounds will alchemize the healing sound vibrations. Dave with sound by blending the vibrations of unique instruments including multiple gongs, crystal singing bowls, and other abstract sounding pieces. He has been working with sound since 2012.
A sober sitter will be present, should you need any assistance.
We will meet at https://www.innerwolfretreatspace.com/ at 1 pm for everyone to introduce themselves and state their intentions. We will go over any last minute details and have time for everyone to settle in before we begin the experience at 2 pm. The experience will last approximately 2 hours. Afterwards we will gather for some healthy "munchies" and a group integration circle to allow plenty of time for everyone to reground. We will close the circle by 6:30 pm.

This event usually costs $70 - $100 (sliding scale) but for this time we are doing it on a voluntary DONATION BASIS so you can give what you can and come join us even if you can't give anything right now.
You will receive a guided psychedelic experience (medicine included!), a Sound Healing session at Inner Wolf Retreat Space a group integration session. We ask that you bring healthy snacks to share and eye shades and smoking pipe or other device and a lighter...and don't forget to bring WATER for yourself! This is a Legal Psychedelic Experience!
