Join us for an an evening of Circling Method and Authentic Relating!

The Circling Method is a communication practice that emphasizes slowing down and paying closer attention to our authentic internal experience while being in connection with others. In Circling, we place a high value on what is occurring in the present moment and welcoming everything that arises. The end result is often connections that feel more vibrant and alive in the moment, and can lead to long-term transformation, both personal and interpersonal.

A typical evening will begin with Authentic Relating practices, which serve as icebreakers and help build the foundational skills not only for Circling, but for relationships in our daily lives. We will usually end the evening with a round of Circling practice, either in small groups or as a larger group (i.e. “organic circling”).

This evening is a good fit for you if:
*You desire more access to deeper connections
*You’re interested in seeing yourself and others more fully
*You want to develop and/or maintain your capacity to be more present with yourself and others
*You’d like to improve your ability to communicate your authentic experience in relationship with others
*You want to engage with a community of people interested in improving the quality of their relationships

The Facilitators:

Cathy has been facilitating the Circling Method for the last several years in Asheville, The Bay Area, Boston and online. Cathy began her teaching with one of the founders, Guy Sengstock, and was a facilitator and partner at the Circling Institute. Cathy is also a Relational Coach working both with individuals and couples. She loves to support people toward living a more relational life. She believes that the quality of one’s life is equal to the quality of their relationships!

Daniel has been engaged in Circling, Authentic Relating, and other similar practices such as T-group for many years, and facilitated these practices in CA before moving to Western NC a few years ago. Before discovering relational meditation, Daniel had established a regular Zen meditation practice, and has come to deeply appreciate the way in which circling and similar practices transform solo meditation into a shared practice between people. Daniel is a firm believer in the healing power of skillful, mindful relating.
