Break Stuff. Build Connections.
Details
Note: this event is not momma-specific and is welcome to all!
What if anger isn’t something to hide, fix, or swallow?
We’re inviting you to a first-ever collaboration between Totem and The Breakroom Rage Room AVL. Together, we’ll explore anger through Totem-style guided prompts, conversation, and hands-on breaking.
This is an opportunity to get curious about what anger feels like in your body, how it gets triggered, and what it might be trying to show you, then give some of that energy somewhere to go.
Come ready to reflect, release, break a few things, and leave a little lighter.
This will be a very intimate group of 8 people, so please only RSVP if you plan to come. The event is pay-what-you-can in the spirit of accessibility.
A few logistics so you know what to expect:
Have something you’re itching to break? Bring it with you. Otherwise, we’ll provide items to break. If breaking things feels too loud, scary, or just not your thing, there will also be a paint room to explore. Just wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
For breaking: Please wear comfortable clothes that cover your arms and legs, plus sneakers or boots. Protective gear will be provided. Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to sign your waiver and get suited up.
Rage room activities may not be recommended for people who are pregnant or may be pregnant, or for anyone with certain medical conditions. Please check with your medical provider if you have any concerns.
Can’t wait to see you there.
