Free Cuddle @ the Park/Show; Hope of OZ

this is a free event but please register HERE so we have a final head count.

Come cuddle in the park while watching local free (donations encouraged) theater! The Montford Players are preforming Hope of OZ and you are invited to come watch the show with the Asheville Cuddle Collective. Note- we will not be doing icebreakers or connection games. You are welcome to ask people to cuddle or share touch and as always, wait for an enthusiastic yes before touching anyone.

Show begins at 7:30- we will gather our blankets and start connecting at 7pm.

What to bring- Please bring a blanket and pillow to help create the cuddle space. Bring your own water & snacks to share.

Set a decade after Dorothy’s defeat of the Wicked Witch of the West and her subsequent departure, The Hope of Oz brings us to a newly invigorated Capital where the Wizard’s power has grown immensely with constant systematic oppression on his denizens and waging a drug-fueled war with the new cadre of Witches that brings its citizens to their knees. The story follows Gale, an investigative “Witch-hunter,” on the trail of East’s assassination. Trapped in a bar with a synthetic (known as mimics), surrounded by encroaching revolutionaries, Witches, and the Wizard’s ever watchful eyes, Gale must survive the night if Oz will see its dawn. But in an empire of extremes, who can survive?
