🎊🚲Our First meet up! exciting! 🎉🚲
Let's explore the French Broad River Greenway, quick stop at New Belgium brewery, lunch at White Duck Taco and then end at our starting point. We will start our meetup at the worlds smallest e-bike shop "Asheville Custom E-Bikes" at 342 Depot St. Asheville NC 28801.
A basic overview of the ride - We will ride the greenway on both sides of the river. From the shop to carrier park, to Wilsons RV park on the river, then turn around and hit the dog park and new path to New Belgium Brewery for a fun 30ish minute stop. Have a sip, chat, throw a frisbee, shake hands, take some pics and show off our bikes. We'll saddle up again and ride to White Duck taco on the river for a bite together. Then ride back to the shop, put up the bikes and call it a fun time! Our only expectation should be a fun time meeting, riding, chatting and breaking bread together. About 11 miles of easy well maintained trails, and with an e-bike this will be a breeze! We will be meeting in the River Arts District at address listed. there is Free parking directly across the street from meeting location in a large gravel lot. if that is full there is also parking along the road.
We are guessing this will take about two and a half to three hours total. If you are using one of our bikes and have never been on an electric bike, Please come 30 minutes early (10:30am) This will give us the time to show you how your bike works, and for you to get acclimated to it. This will be an easy ride, if you are new to e-bikes. If your using one of our bikes, it is necessary that you sign a waiver. I will post the link on here to sign the waiver, please do so before the day off the ride. As stated in the group Bio, a donation of $20 is suggested for use of bikes, but NOT required. Let's enjoy this weather while we still have it!! Looks like 5% chance of rain and a high of 75 degrees....sounds about perfect! Come ride with us, meet new people and see new sights ☺

Side note: Please message me if you need to use one of our bikes, First come first serve. If you reserve a bike and find that you can not make it at anytime leading up to the event, PLEASE let me know, so we can invite someone else who wants to come. We have about 8-10 bikes that can be reserved, if it comes to a waitlist, I will let you know where you are on that list.
