Our regular Wednesday Fika will be at Vortex Donuts on Banks Avenue, in the South Slope near downtown.
We will meet at the picnic tables next to Vortex and towards Coxe Avenue.
Vortex offers a great selection of donuts and espresso coffees.
Parking: There is a parking deck that is now open to the public, The cost is just $2 an hour. The address is 45 Federal Alley.
There are free unmetered spots on Coxe Ave. and on Banks Ave. You can also find metered spots, some take credit cards.
There is also a paid lot across the street from Vortex. You must use the ParkMobile app. *Pro tip: install the app and create an account before you leave home. Setting it up takes several minutes.
*** If you park in this or any other lot, you must pay for parking - it is not free. If you cannot get the parking payment app to work do not leave your car because it will be towed. ***
Please do not bring outside beverages or food.
