Snowbird Mtn and Deep Gap on the AT. 14.8 miles. 3700 vert. FITNESS HIKE!!

Fitness hike on the Appalachian Trail. Out and back over Snowbird Mtn (with its FAA beacon clearing) and down to Deep Gap and Groundhog Creek Shelter. Long hike, but it is on very well maintained trail.

14.8m and about 3700 gain.

Dogs are welcome.

Self arrange any shuttles as I will be at trailhead early.

Parking is roadside where the AT crosses Green Corner Rd.

This should be a quiet section of trail as the thru hikers should be well north of us by now.
