Juneberry Foraging Mini Event!

It's juneberry season! If you aren't familiar with juneberries, also called serviceberries, they are a plentiful and tasty fruit which is widely planted in the Asheville area.

We'll meet in the MOD Pizza parking lot on Merrimon Ave to snack on a few juneberries before the Beaver Lake Evening Walk at 7 pm. Anyone who wants to can get a pizza at MOD (they are pretty quick), or just come for the berries. I will be on hand for plant identification and to reassure everyone that juneberries are safe to eat.
