Evening Tailgate Picnic on the Blue Ridge Parkway

One of the unacknowledged benefits of the Blue Ridge Parkway is that it provides our community with one of the most beautiful "third spaces". Come finish Saturday off with some fellow introverts at a tailgate picnic at one of the parkway's local scenic overlooks!
We will gather at the Funnel Top Overlook. This is near scenic hotspots like the Frying Pan Tower, Black Balsam, Graveyard Fields, and Mt. Pisgah. Use this as an opportunity to see the sights nearby before coming to the picnic. Or just come to the picnic, the views at this lookout are great!
This is a BYO (bring your own) event. This overlook does not have picnic tables. Bring your own food, drinks, and seating (a standard outdoor chair is great)!
There aren't any restrooms but fortunately we are <1mile from the Pisgah Inn Country Store which does have restrooms! Location pin is accurate and this overlook is searchable on GPS apps.
