Labor Day Weekend Hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Come hike a portion of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail right here in Asheville! Some important information to know about the trail:

Trail length: 4.8 miles
Elevation gain: 803 feet
Dog-friendly? Yes
Wheelchair accessible? No
Recommended supplies: Water, snack, sturdy shoes, hiking poles (if desired), long pants (the trail is a tad overgrown in areas)
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are available in the Folk Art Center, but the Center does not open until 10. Please plan accordingly!
Parking: Parking is plentiful at the Folk Art Center. We'll meet near the main entrance to the Center and head to the trail at 9:15.
