Friday Night Film: "The Roses"

Details
Calling all cinephiles! Come check out a movie at Fine Arts Theatre, Asheville's own independently-owned movie theater! We'll attend the 7:20 showing of "The Roses" (rated R). Here's a synopsis from Rotten Tomatoes:
"Life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy (Olivia Colman) and Theo (Benedict Cumberbatch): successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing -- as Theo's career nosedives while Ivy's own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites. The Roses is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film The War of the Roses, based on the novel by Warren Adler."
General admission tickets are $11, and can be purchased online ahead of time or at the door. We'll gather in the concessions area just inside the door and head into the theater at 7:15. Please note that this movie is being shown in the upstairs theater and there is no elevator in the building. I'll post a comment with our location in the theater in case you arrive late or have trouble finding us. For more information on Fine Arts Theatre or to purchase tickets online, please see their website: http://fineartstheatre.com/ Hope to see you there!
