Let's check out the Visitor's Center of the beloved Blue Ridge Parkway, conveniently located in Asheville at Milepost 384! According to the website, the center "offers exhibits on the natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the region." One exhibit features the 24-minute movie The Blue Ridge Parkway-America’s Favorite Journey shown regularly throughout the day. Admission to the Visitor's Center is free!
In addition to the exhibits, there is a 1.4-mile hiking loop just outside the Visitor's Center, which we will be exploring just before this event. If you are interested in joining us for the hike portion of the visit, please RSVP here.
