Come explore some of the trails of the North Carolina Arboretum! There are several trails at the Arboretum, but we will be completing the suggested 2-mile hike from their website that includes Running Cedar Road, Creekside Trail, and Carolina Mountain Trail. To see a map of the grounds and these trails, check out this link!

Here is some information to know about the route we will be taking:
Trail length: 2 miles (approximate)
Elevation gain: 200 feet (approximate)
Dog-friendly? Yes
Wheelchair accessible? No
Recommended supplies: Water, sturdy shoes
Bathrooms: There are restrooms near the Education Center, where we will gather before the hike. There is also one port-a-potty near the start of our trail route.
Parking/Carpooling: There is plenty of parking at the Arboretum! The cost is $20 per car. Feel free to use the comments section of this event to find carpool buddies if you wish! We will meet outside the Education Center (number 4 on the Arboretum map, see link above). We will depart for the trails at 9:10 sharp, so please do your best to arrive on time!
