Since ancient times, people have gathered around sacred fires to release burdens, offer prayers, seek guidance, and connect with the deeper rhythms of life. Fire has always been more than heat and light. It is a living symbol of transformation, capable of helping us release what is complete and strengthen what is ready to grow.
Throughout the evening, each participant will be invited to engage directly with the fire through personal prayer and intention. Whether offering gratitude, seeking clarity, honoring a transition, or releasing an old story, the fire becomes a sacred ally in the process of transformation.
The ceremony will be enhanced with the aromatic presence of sacred herbs and resins, including cedar, frankincense, copal, rosemary, and other plant allies traditionally used for blessing, purification, protection, and prayer. As these offerings are placed into the fire, their smoke carries our intentions skyward while creating a rich sensory experience that connects us to the ancient traditions of earth-based ceremony.
The evening will also include an immersive sound journey featuring gongs, singing bowls, and other healing instruments. The sounds will help deepen relaxation, open inner awareness, and support the energetic shifts initiated through prayer and fire ceremony.
Surrounded by the beauty of the Asheville mountains and the quiet presence of nature, this gathering offers a sacred space to slow down, reconnect, and remember what truly matters.
