First off, what a wonderful discussion last month around Walker's "Everyday Use." I gain so many new ways to think about stories in our talks. So, thank you!
Second, summer (and August) kind of got away from me, which is to say I ran out of time on the calendar for an August meet up. I've very sorry.
But....September's meet-up is going to feature three (very) short stories by the Italian writer Italo Calvino. Calvino's work is described as an odd, meta, postmodern blending of the realms of fantasy, science, and realism.
The three stories are:
- Mr. Palomar on the Beach: reading a wave

- All At One Point
