"A Real Doll" by AM Homes

Compliments of the season! Just in time for Christmas, the short story club is doing a story about a toy. "A Real Doll" by AM Homes is a story about a boy who develops a romantic fixation for one of his sister's Barbie dolls. First published in 1990, it's a more contemporary story than we usually read here. The unconventional style and graphic depictions of certain actions will certainly provide for a lively discussion not to be missed.
